Also known as Turkish Baths, they have been traced back through history to ancient times. The relaxation provided by steambaths can also alleviate and reduce aches and pains. The difference between a steambath and a sauna, is that a sauna uses dry heat, and in a steambath there is a humidity level of 100% with a temperature of 50 and 60ºC. Because the temperature is lower than that of a sauna, you may use your steambath during a longer period.

HEALTH ADVANTAGES

Steambaths are particularly recommended for colds, sore throats, adolescent skin problems (acne), improves your blood circulation, helps expectorate mucus and cleanses your respiratory passage. It is anti-spasmodic, relieves aches and pains and it increases your metabolism.
